The culture he created when founding Supreme Lending in 1999 has resulted in our company’s continued success. He is a man of integrity which shows in his deep commitment to enriching the lives of his employees at every level of the organization.

A dynamic entrepreneur, Scott came into the mortgage industry when he discovered the existing process for obtaining a mortgage loan was cumbersome and slow. He combined his love of technology and keen business sense to develop an approach to home financing that has resulted in exceptional turn times and outstanding close-on-time ratios for Supreme and our customers. Above all, Scott is a master of balance. He has built an incredibly successful company while keeping family and relationships at the forefront of all that he does. Scott enjoys traveling to his native New Hampshire and taking time daily to share his appreciation for the people who enrich his life.

Kevin Pezzani

Chief Operating Offficer

Kevin has more than 30 years of mortgage leadership and adds profound experience and knowledge in nationwide and multi-state originations, risk management, regulatory compliance, and government affairs. As Chief Operating Officer, Kevin is responsible for providing strategic oversight and collaboration to elevate Supreme’s operations and set industry-leading standards. He leads Supreme to drive business, overcome challenges, and influence team culture for success.

An industry advocate, Kevin is an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association and served on several boards, committees, and other leading associations.

Kevin has more than 30 years of mortgage leadership and adds profound experience and knowledge in nationwide and multi-state originations, risk management, regulatory compliance, and government affairs. Sue Metzger

SVP of Operations

Sue's Bio
With 30+ years of mortgage experience, Sue has greatly improved the quality of lending in countless roles, including Director of Underwriting and Chief Compliance Officer. As SVP of Operations, Sue is passionate about leading and improving operational loan processes and technical developments, making it quicker and more cost-effective. By setting high standards, empowering her teams, and providing guidance and support, under Sue’s leadership, Supreme’s operations and sales professionals work harmoniously to provide the best customer experience and deliver quality loans.

Outside of work, Sue enjoys boating on lakes of Indiana where she shares property with her siblings, flying with her husband for “$100 hamburgers” on the weekends, and cheering on the Indianapolis Colts.

Candice McNaught

SVP of National Sales

Candice's Bio
Candice has 15 years of mortgage leadership experience, having served as served as Director of Marketing for one of Supreme’s highest performing branches and Branch Manager to lead a team that averaged $330 million in production. As SVP of National Sales, Candice plays a significant role in marketing, products, recruiting, and finance. She oversees the sales team by aligning strategies with programs and ensuring the achievement of target goals. She is also dedicated to enriching company culture and building lasting relationships.

In her spare time, Candice is very involved in the community, supporting organizations like the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas and Susan G. Komen. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling the world with her husband, Clay, and three children.

SVP of Capital Markets

Dave's Bio

Dave is a mortgage banking executive with more than 30 years of diverse industry experience. As SVP of Capital Markets, he directs all risk management and product development activities for Supreme. He empowers his teams while leveraging data and technology to drive loan production, position the company for growth, and enhance customer experience. Dave has held leadership positions with some of the most highly regarded financial services companies in the industry. In addition to his extensive service in capital markets, he has directed sales in the retail, correspondent, and wholesale spaces.

Dave grew up on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay in Maryland, not far from Washington, D.C., and still enjoys boats, fishing, and relaxing on the beach. In his spare time, he enjoys road cycling and walking, reading, and watching sports. Dave splits time between Dallas and the Raleigh area of North Carolina, where he spends time with family including a daughter in high school and a son in college.

With 30 years in the mortgage industry and 12 dedicated to Supreme, Rob is a seasoned professional with a diverse background spanning from retail originations, wholesale account sales, secondary marketing, and mortgage banking consulting. In his role as Product Development Manager, he brings a wealth of knowledge to drive innovation and excellence. Rob offers vital support and expertise to Supreme’s operations and sales teams.

Rob graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and has called Texas home for the past 30 years.

With 30 years in the mortgage industry and 12 dedicated to Supreme, Rob is a seasoned professional with a diverse background spanning from retail originations, wholesale account sales, secondary marketing, and mortgage banking consulting. Kayla Eames

Director of Training + Development

Kayla's Bio
Kayla has worked in mortgage for nearly 30 years and has held positions in all areas of the business, including originations, processing, underwriting, closing, as well as VP of Accounting and Servicing for a local mortgage company. Her experience in various roles within the mortgage industry helps her provide a well-rounded onboarding and training experience.

Having earned multiple degrees in psychology, management, and accounting, Kayla attended the University of Maryland for undergraduate and University of Texas at Dallas for graduate studies. Kayla has been married for more than 28 years and is a proud mother. She enjoys camping (a.k.a. glamping), sitting by the firepit with family and friends, and spending quality time with loved ones.

Ashley Townsend

Customer Success + Transition Manager

Ashley's Bio
Ashley plays a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless onboarding experience. With a tenure dating back to 2009, she has a deep understanding of Supreme’s operations. Having served as a Sr. Processor for 10 years, she transitioned into her current role in July 2023. Working closely with the Onboarding and Training teams, Ashley coordinates new hires, site visits, and welcome events. Throughout the onboarding process, she is the main point of contact, conducting welcome calls to set expectations and address any training needs to foster a smooth transition for team members joining Supreme Lending.

In her free time, Ashley is passionate about fitness and obsessed with sunrises and sunsets. She enjoys outdoor adventures such as hiking, kayaking, and paddleboarding. She is married and has a teenage daughter who barrel races, having won her first belt buckle last season.

Having been with Supreme for 8 years, he is an instrumental leader in operations and closing. Tony has a strong background in mortgage and financial services, strategic planning, and team building.

Tony has two sons, 8 and 4 years old. Having played and coached baseball all his life, outside of work, Tony currently coaches his son’s 9U Travel Team. When he’s not busy with his sons’ jampacked sports schedules, he tries to play golf as much as possible.

Cesar Colón

Director of Marketing

Cesar's Bio
Cesar began his professional career at Supreme in 2013. His strong entrepreneurial mindset fit right in with the company culture and developed a knack for problem-solving. Cesar has seen the marketing department grow from a three-person team to what it is now, a full department.

A graduate of Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, Cesar developed affection for the city of Boston and the northeastern region of the U.S. Beyond his professional and academic pursuits, he is an avid DFW sports enthusiast, wholeheartedly supporting all local teams.

Cesar began his professional career at Supreme in 2013. His strong entrepreneurial mindset fit right in with the company culture and developed a knack for problem-solving. Cesar has seen the marketing department grow from a three-person team to what it is now, a full department.

A graduate of Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, Cesar developed affection for the city of Boston and the northeastern region of the U.S. Beyond his professional and academic pursuits, he is an avid DFW sports enthusiast, wholeheartedly supporting all local teams.

Chris King

and Business Services

Chris joined Supreme in 2018 and has 14 years of experience in the mortgage industry. In his role, he helps branches and originators optimize and scale their business to achieve targeted goals. Chris leads several strategic initiatives to increase efficiencies and drive profitability. As an avid problem-solver, he provides tremendous support to help overcome obstacles and excel in business.

Chris attended The Colony High School and graduated from Midwestern State University, where he also played college soccer as a Defensive Center Back. He has four daughters, 8-year-old twins, a 5-year-old, and 4-year-old.

As Director of Project Review Office, Jim and his team serve loan originators, operations team members, and, most importantly, families in obtaining condo and PUD project and leasehold approvals. They provide limited and standard condo reviews as well as FHA spot approvals.

Jim, when he is not working on a car or truck, collects art, antiques, and enjoys a good bottle of wine. His wife of 20+ years and four children love traveling. His wife is also in the mortgage industry and an accomplished flautist. Jim is a first-generation American and spent 10+ years in the military ranging from tours around the globe to the chief in charge of operating room suites. He strongly believes we are here to serve others.

Staci began her career in mortgage 30 years ago in college and has been with Supreme for 18 of those years. As Branch Support Manager, Staci is passionate about ensuring that every branch is supported with anything and everything that they need to excel. She takes pride in providing the best customer service in the industry. Staci and her team truly care and feel rewarded every day that they’re able to help.

Having grown up on cattle ranch, Staci attended a new North Texas high school and graduated from Texas A&M University. She has two daughters, two stepsons, and six grandsons, who are her world. Staci loves to travel every chance she can get.

Shawn Wood

Director of Margin
and Risk Management

Shawn has been in the mortgage industry for 23 years and, like most, started as a Loan Officer. He has held various positions from Sales Coach, Branch Manager, all the way to Divisional Manager. His position with Supreme as Director of Margin Management is his first corporate position. With Shawn’s extensive experience in sales and firsthand knowledge of the inner workings to running a branch and region, his goal is to help increase efficiencies, minimize costs, and maximize revenue.

Outside of work, Shawn enjoys spending time with his four children. He is passionate about deep sea fishing, snorkeling, and traveling.

Shawn has been in the mortgage industry for 23 years and, like most, started as a Loan Officer. He has held various positions from Sales Coach, Branch Manager, all the way to Divisional Manager. Martin Bruno

Director of Production Support

Martin's Bio
Martin has 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry in all areas of the business, including sales, processing, underwriting, post-closing, finance, and business process outsourcing (BPO). As Director of Production Support, he assists branches through monitoring expenses and assisting in P&L management.

Born in Denmark, Martin came to the U.S. as an exchange student as a sophomore in high school. He graduated from UCLA where he also played NCAA soccer. Martin is married with five children and enjoys travel, golf, live music, and spending time with his family.

Martin has 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry in all areas of the business, including sales, processing, underwriting, post-closing, finance, and business process outsourcing (BPO).
